The people behind Santara
About Santara
A small spa, run by people who grew up with Ayurveda and want to share it, carefully, with everyone who walks in.
Our story
Why Kavita opened Santara
Santara was started in 2017 by Kavita Menon. She wanted a place in London where Ayurveda was done the way she knew it growing up, warm, patient and true to its roots, not watered down into a beauty treatment.
So she built three quiet rooms on Pitshanger Lane, in warm wood, brass and linen, and brought in therapists trained in Kerala. The result is somewhere that feels neither like a salon nor a clinic. A third thing, calmer than both.
